This site was set-up to showcase my 20+ years as a professional journalist (currently I am an Associate Professor of Communication Arts at Benedictine University in Lisle IL.). This site has examples of my writing, photography and page design; there are also sections on my role at Benedictine.
I have been fortunate to have worked for many different media outlets around the county and have covered everything from a potato that looked like Richard Nixon (true story) to the aftermath of a Hurricane in central Honduras. Below are the places I've worked at as a staffer:
