Writing
I've always felt that a journalist should be able to handle more than one role in a newsroom. Unfortunately, due to economic reasons, many journalists today are being forced to take on new responsibilities instead of being given the time to explore what might fit them the best. Writing didn't come as natural to me as photography and design, but I did get the hang of it after a while. Below are links to .pdf pages for few of the stories I have written, most of these were written while I worked at the Northwest Herald, one story (Chris Can, Chris Can't) was written for Chicago Athlete magazine.
Honduras I
"Resilient Hondurans forge ahead"
These are two stories I wrote while on assignment in Honduras about a massive Hurricane that hit the country.
