I always loved designing pages and wonder if all photographers would make solid page designers (and vice versa) due to the same basic visual language both use. I am very grateful to the newspapers that allowed me step out of my traditional role as a photojournalist and try my hand at design, newsrooms tend to be open to journalists exploring new areas.
